Earthquake+ Alerts & Tracker

I find this app to be intuitive and full of data that can be sorted many ways (by distance from your location, magnitude, date, etc) and it also shows geographic features such as plates and mountains. The map view allows high level viewing of hot spots and the list view allows you to get more detailed info on location and depth. Very useful app with data that is continually refreshed. Highly recommended.

I feel like this keeps me in top of not only what is going on in Washington; where I live now. It also helps me keep tabs on my family in California. I lived through the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989 and the anxiety it has caused me ever since was somewhat relieved with this app. I know when there is activity and I can at least check on family if there is an earthquake in their area. I am also a geology enthusiast so this feeds my curiosity about what is going on with our beautiful planet and how the earths crust is constantly on the move.

This earthquake map is an awesome app with a lot of options and it’s free. It has current updates daily and is faster than my other earthquake app that I have as a reports come out immediately where are my other earthquake app comes out after this app reports earthquakes! I recommend this app to anybody who is interested in knowing about earthquakes and also they put on the map nuclear power plantsAnd other objects as well. You can use the Settings easily to change the map and the app to what you’d like to see.
