Restaurant Story

Used to play this game a LOT on and off throughout my childhood. It’s always been a really fun game to keep coming back to along with bakery story. Unfortunately since re-downloading the game it is now completely taken over with ads especially everytime when first entering the game or trying to serve food. These ads also cause major glitches in the game such as resetting tasks you’ve already completed, disappearing food or items, and even just the game freezing completely. Ive loved the option to watch an ad to speed up food orders but the random ads popping up everytime you enter which were not from you clicking to watch an ad for a speed up keeps glitching your progress and is infuriating. I’ve also had irl friends playing this game with me recently who do not receive my requests in game. This has been more recent as the ads have become worse and I’m not sure if it’s another glitch from those ads. Either way I will probably be uninstalling this game of these issue persist 😔 ( note- I can say bakery story has a LOT less of these ads and glitches but it does still happen unfortunately…) UPDATE : I have since now deleted this game as the ads got to a point they almost made me buy over $30 in game gems because I could not hit the X button and it was super glitched/ having freezing issues. This stressed me out so bad! I am done with this game till all these bugs and ads are fixed.

Ok so I love this game and my literal only complaint is that I will spend DAYS with my door blocked accumulating food. And I mean I’ve gone a full week several times not opening my door. And when I feel the food has accumulated enough, I will open the door. But go back into the game within the same hour and all or most of the food be gone but not having received the money I should’ve received for the amount of food that is no longer there. I’ve done this a lot of times and this last time (kept door closed 3 days. 25 counters all with thousands or tens of thousands of servings each. There was 2 or 3 that only had a couple hundred. Before I opened the door I added up all the servings on each counter and it came out to be exactly 113, 692 total). I screen recorded me checking each counter with how many servings each had. This was at 2:04pm EST. At 2:47pm EST I went back into the restaurant to see over half my counters empty but roughly only 150k increase in my earnings. I know different foods cost different prices but there’s no way that adds up the way it should. I have the screen recordings for both when I checked before opening the door, including the date and time as well as when I went back to check 43 minutes later also including date and time. Idk if it’s a bug or what but it happens often and I think it needs to be fixed.

I have been playing for years and, despite the fact that I hit the max level years ago, I’m still enjoying adding friends, communicating with them and making food. I do find the tasks have been really hard to finish without using money. They are doable—if you play constantly, which I don’t. I play about 5 times a week, which is quite a bit and rarely get to the second appliance. I’d love to be able to click a button and clear all my tables which would be a huge timesaver. I’d also like to be able to finish tasks more often (maybe fewer items to cook?) Or make it easier to get the appliance in the first place. I have a lot of friends but my gifts are often full so it takes days to finish the appliance. I figure I need about 5 to get to the second appliance. Thanks for highlighting the items, too. Maybe you could have tabs for stoves, grills and ovens so it’s a little easier to find them? I do enjoy this game but find myself having to take breaks because it is so time-consuming. I have the exact same feedback for Bakery Story.
