This app has been great. However, ever since updating to iOS 9, the chime doesn't sound off for every hour. I have it set for every hour; it only goes off here and there. So you know, I am running iOS 9.0.2.

Dear Developer,
This app is decent my strong suggestion to you that I feel would significantly improve the app is giving users the option to customize text that they would like to see when the chime sounds, so when they receive the notification they see their customized text.
In conclusion,
Not only would this improve the app, but it would also be beneficial to the community as in making easier and more fun for people to receive reminders, time, etc.

I setup the times and turned on the app then went to the Home Screen. When the set time came up there was no sound. In order for these apps to work properly they need to have background app refresh turned on but this app doesn’t even have that feature. I’m using it on the iPhone 14 pro max.

HourlyChime is a simple utility that runs in background and hourly notices the exact time to alert. With this little utility, you can easily keep track of time. You will hear alert sound with/without popup message every hour on the hour. There are 9 chimes installed with the application. You can select the chime to be played once every hour. Or you can even let your iPhone tell you the time in "Speaking Clock" mode.
FEATURES:
- Only one view
- runs fully in the background
- use any of the built-in chime sounds
- built-in speaking clock as alternative to chime sound
How to use:
1. Click and run the HourlyChime application.
2. In order to enable alert function, you should slide the switch ON.
3. When the switch is ON, you can see other options.
4. You can set your alert type, alert times and alert tone. The selected item will be displayed with the checked mark.
5. If it is done, you should press the Home button.

- obeys the volume and silent settings of your phone
