This is a good app, the AI is decent, there are three view modes, and you have the option to save your game to return to it later. I would give it 5 stars, but what bothers me is that there is no option for the three fold repetition rule. Occasionally, the computer will make the same move back and forth over and over again ad infinitum, which is extremely annoying. Also, if the clock runs out, if a move is made within the last 30 seconds, the clock resets to thirty seconds ... That is fine if you are the one running out of time, but the AI can never run out of time? What gives?

The app still slips at times the internet fades in and out still often and the wait sometimes like today is herendous Sometimes play 10 sec chess I don’t get a full 10 sec to move not too often but still only 5 sec pretty bad today sat aug 3 a little better but before the game can’t focus in from one game to the next games there’s still wait times Sometimes loose a rematch game and it takes the internet awhile when someone challenges, by the time the internet clears , people can’t wait so a loss of games and rematchest ??? are lost. Still an awful app. Still I’m loosing games bec of how long it takes the internet to recover from blackouts what can you do about it !!! Please contact us. Have you even read my complains ??? The message sent , returns back to me like if it were never sent !!!!!??why are we still having internet blackouts ? Seems like the rate of speed for thus game is very slow. Taking too much time after games because of internet problems and the internet blackout too often so I’m loosing games I’d like to rematch but internet takes about 2 to 10 mins to focus back in

In terms of smoothness, the application is perfect. However, there are a few issues that need to be resolved to get five stars: first off, many people, when a loss is inevitable, leave the game and force the game to either be adjourned or their turn be cast into infinity. The only way to circumnavigate this is to leave the app and reenter. To my knowledge, this forces you to take a loss for the game instead of the deserved win. The second issue, which is unbelievably annoying, is that mid-game, the app store randomly opens. Fix these two issues and I'll be five stars. :::::Update::::: The app will not let me sign in to play online, and this is the only mode I use....very annoying. Connection is good, game and iOS are most recent on an iPhone 6s....should be working
