When I first picked up the phone in the morning I found the light on. Don’t how that happened, but don’t love it. I find the phone awkward to use as a light. It’s far too easy to activated the strobe light. That disorients me when it’s dark. It’s distracting, confusing, and I feel pressure to turn it off. Bothe of these force me to concentrate more than I want to when it’s dark and I’m looking for something else, trying not to bump into something, or if the strength of the light needs adjusting. I can imagine these features might create dangerous situations for some people sometimes. Having small hands, I much prefer a tube shaped flashlight. That all said, the app works well.

And that is what matters in an led phone "flashlight". What I particularly like about this app is you can easily toggle the function menu on and off if you wish to change flashlight behavior but once you have it set up and toggle off every button but the light "switch" you have a very clean screen layout. Even cleaner when you make a token donation to remove the ad bar along the bottom of the screen. I hate app ads. You may not. If you want to save a few pennies it is still a functional app even with the ads enabled.

I need to use the flashlight several times a day. It's easy to get to, easy to use, and shuts the light off when you quit the app. Perfect! Months later I finally gave them some money. No pressure, works fine without paying anything, but the more I use this app, the more I appreciate how well thought out it is. There a lot of useful options to customize it just how I want it (not so bright, blank black screen, no other modes besides the flashlight.) great!
