Having purchased a number of language learning courses, I found the Hello-Hello Spanish app to be a great value. Comparing this app to the Rosetta Stone CD on which I spent several hundred dollars, I was very pleased to see such a thoughtful approach to language learning right on my iPad and for a much better price.
Having the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages participate in the development of this app gives me comfort that I am learning Spanish in a way that languages are taught. The fact that this app has been developed in conjunction with language learning experts is quite apparent as you go through the lessons and look at the methodology.
There are 30 in-depth lessons with full conversations. These conversations are then taught sentence-by-sentence. Then, the main words is these sentences are taught along with a number of words that are similar to that word. In addition to lessons, the flashcards are nicely presented and further reinforce words...
Thank you for this excellent app and keep up the good work.
