To Dos List

Recurring tasks don’t show as completed when the task is marked as completed. The subsequent recurring task is immediately added to the inbox with a new due date. So it looks like the task wasn’t completed because it’s still in the inbox with a new due date. And the task doesn’t show in the Completed list.

Tried several ToDo apps from massively complex to very simple. This one hits the sweet spot. To start with, it has a "dashboard" - did not think I needed one until I saw it. It shows what's due today, what's next (from items with a date), what you've marked as special ("Starred"), and what's Overdue. Very nice "at-a-glance" view. Second, you can add your own named lists, but I never do because you can attach tags to any item. Each tag is essentially its own list - you can view just the items under a tag. Nice for items that may fit in more than one list. If you add an item while viewing one of the "tagged-lists" it will automatically attach that tag - convenient. Third, you can see every item on all your lists in your Inbox; and get them sorted by priority/date. Have not seen anything else I'd want in a simple ToDo app. Opportunities for improvement: (1) app seems slow to start sometimes; but after a minute or so works fine. (2) Could we get the same sorting in the Tagged lists as you allow in the Inbox? (3) Would like to upgrade to ToDo 2, but the comments about losing data make it sound very inconvenient to do that - any solution to that in the works?

This is the kind of To Do List app I was looking for. It had the iCloud sync and the customization I wanted. However, I only gave it 3 stars because it crashes occasionally on my iPhone and I don't feel like the Today last works correctly. i have several tasks on individual lists for different projects with due dates for today and NONE of them show up in my Today list. I have to go hunting for all of them, which is not very productive for me. It also does not even really show the overdue tasks in the Today list (maybe like one). If that I actually worked correctly then this app would have a much higher rating for me. Please fix!! I want to be able to use this app! P.S. It would also be nice if tasks that have due dates that last all day are not overdue until after that day.
