This app simply provides more information than you can imagine. It lists every ski area in Switzerland with a brief recap of snow and weather conditions. Additionally it provides a town map, a ski trails map and webcams. There is also a direct dial phone number in case you want to call the area. The weather section gives a pretty thorough outlook of the days weather at the area. The town map appears to be a Google map which is useful for locating your hotel in relation to the ski area and any lifts that come into town. The screen shots above are all presented in German but there is an english version built in. Don't let the German prevent you from trying this app. I am a frequent skier in Europe and by and large most ski areas keep snow conditions under wraps. This app helps bring it out in the open. I think this presentation would be a good model for U.S. areas as some U.S. apps are lacking in depth. Data can be refreshed hourly, daily or manually. I leave mine on hourly which seems to work well. Well done!!!
