Normally, I am very happy with the alarm that comes preloaded on the Apple iPhone, but today, my alarms did not work, and that is a bit stressful, needless to say. -That said, when I restarted my phone to see if that would fix the problem (it seems to have), I got a request across my screen to rate the alarm. Not only that, but it said something to the effect of "you rate our alarm, and we'll send you updates for our alarm." Whether they intended it to come across as an either/or proposition, I have no idea, but I thought that it was quite the coincidence at the very least... At any rate, other than this recent glitch, I have used this alarm for years... it's been very easy to operate, and basically left me with no need or desire to get another alarm.

I’m giving this app 5 stars for now because it is awesome...when it works. One thing that is very nice is you can set the volume of your alarm and it stays at that level for your alarms no matter what else you do with your phone. I don’t know how many times I was startled awake with the resident iPhone clock app because I had turned up the phone volume earlier in the day or overslept because I had muted the phone and forgot. You can fall asleep listening to sounds you’ve downloaded or your music. It fades out at the end of the time you have set so it doesn’t wake you up when it stops playing. However, with the latest update to the iOS, the app shuts off when you lock the screen. I really miss my ocean sounds! I love this app and I hope the developers can figure out how to make it work, once more, when the screen is locked.

This has been my go-to clock app for years and I’ve always loved it. But lately—when I put my phone in landscape mode for the first few times after launching the app—it thinks the center of the screen is in the lower left corner and THAT’S where it puts the time. It doesn’t increase the font size and it hides the lower half of the time. It takes several tries of going back and forth from landscape to portrait and back again before it displays the time larger and properly centered.
