I like the app,nicely done, but I would really like to be able to specify a number of samples and then average the amplitudes at each frequency ... This would enable me to pick out dominant frequencies and get rid of the random noise.

Developer has used the "keep it simple stupid," (KISS) development mode. Easy simple intuative interface. Works well on M1 Mac mini. With a wide variety of USB microphones, from the cheap low end, to pro level mics. Vaery basic, but very well worth the money. Would be nice to vary the FFT bin levels. CUDOS to the develolper!

Other cheap similar apps only make pretty pictures.
This one gives you labels and you can tap at a spot on the chart to see the corresponding frequency.
Highly useful for basic audio analysis.
