Not worthy a single penny. First they used unpopular words which will not add any value , Second overpriced , Please don't wast your money on this app. It looks like they have same app with many different languages. Which makes the worst app.

If you really want to study the language, this app will not help you after 1 month. Basically it's nothing more than flash cards with pictures and sound, something you can build for free with gflash+ or study blue. The only part that is somewhat useful are the quizzes, but again, you can build all that with the other two apps. This app needs to be updated with more words, more sentences, etc. If you use this app, you can basically say a few phrases and spit out some words, so in the end you'll sound like a toddler speaking Somali.

I'm learning Somali so I can communicate with medical patients. uTalk Somali gives a very limited vocabulary but presents it in an ideal way. Pick from 9 categories of words, then Word Practice. Clicking an English word or phrase plays an audio clip. There are two voices (male and female). You can click a microphone button to hear the word, then record your voice saying it. Speaker and playback buttons let you hear the native speaker, then your recorded voice, for comparison. Word games let you practice your comprehension. EuroTalk is open to suggestions for new words and seems poised to expand the vocabulary significantly.
