Pocket Big Brother

I first downloaded this app during its so-called “glory days” during BB16 and back then it was great. I got simple updates about the structure of the house with no opinions/narcissism, just plain FACTS. However, in later seasons I’ve kept giving the app “another chance” and couldn’t help notice the increasing amount of childish, opinionated, despicable & preposterous content in the descriptions written by the clearly narcissistic developers. If it wasn’t for the developers deleting all the negative reviews of this app, I believe that the overall rating would be under a 2.0 like it should be and less people would be wasting their time. Also, I won’t forget to touch on some of the replies to the reviews I’ve just skimmed over on here. They just prove my point even more: textbook narcissism. The developers are only concerned about themselves and they’re opinions, saying things like “Well 10s of thousands of people love this app. It’s been the same for 9 years. Sorry to see you go.” & “Just calling it how I see it. Nicole #2 is the worst winner ever, that’s why I changed her memory wall picture to a snake.” Just plain pitiful, that all I can say is stop what you’re doing now, get the app back to the way it was 6 years ago, and call me when 10s of MILLIONS of people love it & it’s actually deserving of a 4.7/5 star rating. Maybe I’ll download it again, maybe I won’t.

UPDATE: I previously gave this app 5 stars and I am still giving this app 5 stars. I love the redesign of the UI! It's fresh and feels much more modern. A friendly suggestion is maybe include a key of the Emojis on a splashscreen when users open the app for the first time since updating and maybe put it in the settings for a quick reminder. Love the use of the Emojis though. Not hard to figure out. Additionally, just something I personally would love is the ability to turn on a dark mode changing the UI to a darker color scheme. Great update! ------------------------ I've enjoyed using this app for years. This is my one stop for everything Big Brother as you can get quick updates on the status of HOH, Nominations, and POV. Also, you have the ability to see what is currently happening in the house with the integration of Joker's updates and forums. I understand the criticism from other users about the developer's choice to include opinionated updates during recent seasons, but I do not think this is deserving of ratings of 1 or 2.

I have had your app & many many more apps for years. This year I was not sure if I was going to renew. One- because it is free online & most importantly by the last few weeks of every season your site goes MIA reported every 5 hours? Don’t tell me you do this for free! Even if let’s say you get 100,000 people who purchase your app, that’s 500 thousand dollars, with the begging of someone please take over & hackers getting into your site. Even though I have a different credit card for iTunes then I did last year. Rather then ask me if I wanted to renew, you just decided to take it upon yourself to charge me? I have never in the history of apps been charged for something I wasn’t asked? Last I saw your site said you were upgrading your app & to purchase go to App Store. Went to sleep, woke up with new colored app & charged? ON A DIFFERENT CREDIT CARD THEN LAST YEAR. DO I THINK THIS IS ILLEGAL- yes!
