Golden Axe Classics

When I got my first Genesis as a kid, it came with a 6 Pack Game cartridge. The only games that mattered to me were Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi, and Golden Axe. The game on the cartridge was GA2 and I fell in love immediately. I can’t remember how many times I beat this game!! Fast forward about 20 years or so later - still love this game!! I was stoked to find it on here! Please Sega, just fix the controls for all of the Sega classics. The button boxes are too small and the D-Pad is as well. It was great to see that all of the attacks and movements are identical, they just feel impossible sometimes. This is the only reason I cannot give 5. With practice, you can eventually get use to the controls, but it’s a little difficult. Stick through it - the Sega Classics are some of the best games ever made - modern gamers will never fully appreciate the 3 Lives only rules, but I think they’ll still find enjoyment out of it. Who doesn’t want to ride a dragon or play as a hardcore dwarf with a devastating horned-headbutt!?

Honestly I’m only nine years old was I still have played some really old games like donkey Kong contra and Pac-Man I also have played Kirby superstar but when I first downloaded this I did not know diss was three games in one if Sega had all of their classic games in one app and I mean like all of their games from everything from sonic the hedgehog to Super monkey ball I think that be awesome I have also seen some 90 shows these golden axe classics are a hit but there should be more than one Like golden axe beast Rider and others like one of them that it doesn’t include golden axe the duel

For a free game, I'm pretty happy to play it and glad it was ported! However, just because there's a higher audience in mobile games doesn't make it a good game for mobile. The only complaint I have are with the controls. But it's not the game's fault. It's a mobile port and these controls take a lot of getting used to. I'm used to using a controller and not having to look down constantly to make sure I'm touching the pad where as the controller I can feel the buttons and I know the direction I am moving the character. Instead of using an arrow pad, just let me move the character myself by moving my finger in any direction on the screen. It's been ages and I can't remember for the life of me how to activate anything beyond a level 1 spell. There's nothing in the guide in the game or details within the app. Holding A does nothing but cast the spell. I tried pushing a combo of other buttons or using the arrow keys and I got nothing. It would be pretty awesome if we can get a full remake of this game series. Not on mobile though. The controls would make me crazy.
