Their app requires registration in order to work. This is bad in many ways, the most important one is that my hardware will stop working if they shut servers down. Second, activation mail is not arriving, and without it I am unable to use my hardware at all. They blame this on Apple. There is no resend activation email option in the app. Support is fairly slow to answer and not really willing to help. Their “solution” is to create a new email address with other provider in order to register an account. My hardware is basically just a really expensive paper weight. There is no logical way to do the first setup and no guide in the app (or on paper) to follow so you have to look it up online. App has generally bad and confusing UX. It’s never logical where things are placed. Firmware updates are not always working, hardware comes with old firmware and you can’t update in order to get Matter support, because updates are not working. One expensive and bad experience so far…

It stopped working a few weeks ago. All other devices are working fine, but the Rollladen can now only be controlled with the bottom and not by voice command.
