The Akashic Portal

Was really excited about this app because the aesthetics seemed so close to costar. It’s hard to find a spiritual app that’s actually put together! Unfortunately I was really sad to find out that a) there’s still a paywall despite the app saying “no in-app purchases”. They get around this by making you go directly to their site (which was a tiny tiny footnote on the app details). And, unfortunately, b) there’s an undefined waitlist that you have to sign up for in order to even get past the log in screen. After messing with the app and the creator’s website, I still don’t have any relevant information. Just a waste of time and an undefined wait time, undefined price. For being a spiritual app centered on altruism, helping others, and educating people…. They’re really underhanded and selfish with it. I guess I’ll go to the crappy, outdated websites for research because at least they do what they advertise :)
