Bridge to Another World Clouds

Welcome to Celestis, a magical Utopian city filled with surreal floating islands, talking animals, and exquisite scenery. However, not everything is as idyllic as it seems; some sinister forces are creeping out from underneath all the splendor, causing destruction to everything in its path and instilling fear into the minds and hearts of the township. You play the role of a young woman, Aurora, who helped built Celestis years ago, along with your friends. You are transported back to this otherworldly city to unravel the mystery of the disappearance of your dear friend Victor, while simultaneously saving the city from the malignant atrocities afflicting it. Throughout your adventure, you meet several characters, as well as a fox, who will provide support and further your objectives. The exciting gameplay provides in-depth backbone to the storyline. The explorational aspect gives rise to many surprises, thus drawing my attention further into the plot. The HOS are diverse in format, with some creative elements strewn in. I especially like the one in the greenhouse in which you find three items to unlock other items; then you either find items by pattern or by manipulating items back into the scene. You also pick up snippets of information detailing the backstory. The plethora of puzzles, with many of them being mini-puzzles, are mostly simple yet entertaining, with imaginative compositions that are tied into the storyline. For example, I liked the one in which you move Aurora and the fox around the storyboard to their designated spots while hiding from and avoiding the snake. You can set the difficulty level to your choice for a few puzzles. There are two types of collectibles to acquire within most scenes. There is a pullout tab on the left-hand side of the screen, which will update your collectibles status. I have not come across any glitches; transition is seamless. This game is well rounded, typical of this developer’s craftsmanship. There’s nothing to complain about; therefore, I rate this game a well-deserved five stars.

The latest installment in this series is yet another magical and beautiful gem, containing a storyline which is intricate and gripping. As always, the heart of the story contains a message of pathos and love. You are joined on your quest by a fox (a friendly one, symbolic of our wonderful developer!) and you form connections to people and animals along your journey. There is a gimmick, which is a mystical cube in which you insert amulets, play mini-games, and learn more of the storyline. The graphics are beautiful and the game is a satisfying length inclusive of the bonus adventure. We are treated to some innovative and varied HO scenes. Many of the mini-games are rotational and invite you to use your thought processes. General gameplay is extremely interactive and filled with a plethora of interesting tasks. Once Friendly Fox did an immediate update, all collectibles and morphing objects were able to be accessed, so for those of you who complained, kindly update your review to reflect how fantastic this game really was to play. Gamers, this is a must-purchase adventure. Friendly Fox has given us another memorable experience! Thank you so much and be safe. Couldn’t collect the extras in the first scene, but was able to go back for them after finishing. I see you fixed that now. This game was great with a nice variety of tasks and a nice working map. No problems here! Keep these awesome games coming! Thank you for releasing games like these as they are all I play anymore. I refuse to waste my time with “free to play” and games that are released a chapter at a time. You guys are doing it right and I appreciate you!
