Peach Pass Verify

As everyone can tell, this is a total money grab by whoever runs the express lanes. Beyond their website being awful, there wasn’t anything wrong with the old method of putting a car in permanent car pool mode. How is me telling you on a website or me telling in an app, when both are self verification, functionally, any different? Oh wait, they aren’t. The fact I have to do this for each drive is insane. The excuse about GA being hands free is ridiculous. No one is going to crash pressing two buttons. People are going to crash stopping in the middle or side of the road to activate car pool mode. At minimum it should work with CarPlay and I should be able to hit the verify option from the dash of my car. I will keep voicing my opinion of this stupid app no matter how many times you take my reviews down.

How is it that almost every single one of the reviews for this terrible app is negative with 1 star, yet it shows 4.5 out of 5 with mostly 5 star reviews under the title. What kind of misleading scam is going on here? In a nutshell, this app is a terrible joke and an embarrassment to the developers. The very fact that it doesn’t allow you to select the carpool mode while driving is simply unsafe. I routinely have to drive 1-2 hours and might forget carpool mode. Guess what? I have to pull over on the side of the interstate to save $10. What’s safer for me and my riders? It also hijacks the phone calls over Bluetooth with the ridiculous safety message while driving.

As others stated, one star is WAY too generous. The people who designed and built this should never work in technology again. 1) not being allowed to turn on while moving even though the SOLE purpose of turning it on means you have passengers in the car who are not driving!!! 2) having to ‘verify’ after the fact - it could be HOURS before I am stopped at my final destination. I only use these lanes on road trips! And 3) it yells at me when my husband and I login from different devices. We each have a car registered in the account, so it is necessary to login from multiple devices!! This is absurd! And I thought the old app was annoying because you had to set it 15 mins in advance. Please bring it back!!
