Tractor GPS - Field Guidance

This app has been such a time saver! From spraying, mowing, planting it’s so useful. No till drilling was a complete pain not having any idea if I had skips when planting in existing vegetation. Same goes with spraying guessing off of tire prints. It’s not inch accuracy but is pretty dang accurate! Love that you can go back into a job and finish up if you have to leave the field. Hopefully they can advance it adding an external GPS but works as intended. Very fair price for what you get out of the app.

Downloaded it to try it out planting, saved me multiple times and made me more efficient! Firstly, you can leave spots and come back to them if they are on the way out of the field or something so you don’t spend more time chasing small passes to clean up a field (if that makes sense) also, you don’t have to try and remember places to come back to if you have irregular shaped fields like I do. Saved me when my pto pump came off and I realized I wasn’t planting 5 acres later, I had already made tracks so it would have been extremely hard to plant over it and not get messed up, but with the app I just deleted my track and started over! Also helped me at night, I strongly recommend this app if you’re like me and cover a lot of ground and don’t have gps systems. Considering paying for it I liked it so much. Edit here, paid for the app, very helpful, now I’m spraying and it puts me back to my Home Screen immediately when I hit start. Worked great yesterday so I’m not sure what going on. It did a similar thing to me before but I think they were updating the app, so maybe that’s what’s going on

Didn’t have time to get our gps system back in so we figured why not, give this app a try with the free trial. This actually worked really well. My dad who has never used a gps system really liked how well it worked and it was very easy to use. No you don’t have jobs you can save and other features as a full system, but it’s a great option for those that want to learn how gps works first or even smaller acreage properties where it’s not cost worthy for a system. Hopefully there will be an option in the future that you can export your jobs (or we don’t have the option in the free trial) for record keeping. Super easy, non tech savvy users can even work it. Keeping our subscription and giving our kid an iPad to go work and color the lines.
