The free ap no longer works. You must pay $7 per month and you cannot see if it will work with your device. For that kind of money I can buy a nice device that doesn’t use an app and does much more. I deleted the app and found another one so my tool is not junk.

They don’t even offer a demo car to check out the specs that they give and what the UI looks like I don’t even know if I want to try the three day basically 72 hours trial

Bought the hardware and the app was free, not even ads
Now, they want to charge $7 a month and I am going to use it once. It’s garbage now. I’ll buy one with its own screen and no app
About Torque OBD2 - Car Check Engine
The Torque OBD2 - Car Check Engine app help you to check at any time whether the vehicle is out of order, display the cause of the fault and maintenance suggestions, monitor the status of the vehicle in real time and alert the safety hazards early to ensure your driving safety.
HOW TO USE WITH BLUETOOTH OBD 2 OBD2 OBDII ELM 327:
- Locate the OBD 2 port: get to know where the OBD 2 connection port is located. This is usually found somewhere below the drivers’ seat. In some older car versions, the dashboard would be better if you checked.
- Turn on the car engine: Although the OBDII port is providing power to the scanner, in some cases you will not be able to retrieve any engine data without the engine running.
- Run the application: Click "SCANNER” to get list OBDII / OBD2 / ELM327 devices list near you via bluetooth and select. (Make sure you turn on your Bluetooth service on iPhone / iPad)

• Support OBDII protocols: ISO15765-4 (CAN), ISO14230-4 (KWP2000), ISO9141-2, J1850 VPW, J1850 PWM
