Instant Note for Notion

The Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets are a game changer. Instantly tag your notions with database relevant tags! So far it doesn’t work with inline databases so you won’t see your tags from there autogenerated. I do wish it has that function, but it’s such a great app I’m willing to wait for future update that hopefully includes it. Also it would be super cool if it uploaded your notions to the app itself. But you can quickly input the notions yourself from this app so again, willing to wait for that function.

This work deserves more recognition. It’s very effective. Its very very good if you’re looking for quick capture whilst you’re about your day without the hassle of opening notion on your phone. If I were to ask for an update would be to setup more than one link, it’s shouldn’t be too difficult for that feature. But besides that, it’s perfect.

Notion is a powerful and flexible tool that can be adapted for so many information types. But it has never been good for quick capture. It takes too long to load, find a database, create a new note, and apply tags. It’s a lot of friction when you just want to jot something down before you forget. Instant Notion fills that gap beautifully. It is simple, clever, and instantaneous. It immediately has a place on my Home Screen.
