Reviews: What People Think About MockOut - NFL Draft Simulator

Let me start by saying this app gives the user a fun experience when doing a mock draft, not as clunky as some other generators. Having said that, it still needs some tweaks. For starters I’d select a few teams, and when it comes to a team’s pick it’ll sometimes be simulated over as if my pick wasn’t up next. Also one I just experienced, I’ll pick for a team but then that pick will be bumped into a different teams pick ie. I drafted Ewers for the Cowboys in RD.3 but the app gave the Browns that pick/player just because it was the pick prior. Just some very noticeable/annoying bugs. Other than that I think it’s a fine simulator!

Love the idea of this being an app instead of a website because all website are laggy and have annoying ads. This app has lots of potential that’s why I’m giving it five stars. I do think you should think about adding the team logos instead of their abbreviations. It would also be great if there was an option to turn off trading. Maybe every so often you could update the draft prospect order to the real one, because it always changes. Which I could just be wrong about that last thing your draft order might be correct but it looks different than the one on the PFF website which in my opinion has had the best draft order out of the rest of the websites. I don’t mean to sound like a Karen, I just want to see this app exceed expectations and keep improving. Getting your draft graded, an easier place to see team needs, and easier place to see who you’ve drafted would also be very helpful.

Good look/feel/responsiveness. Suggest partnering with a prospect rating site - there are plenty out there that are looking to get a ‘name’ and can give you an api. Click on the prospect, get an overview. Also when you click on trades it would be better to see what picks are coming up rather than choosing what team to trade with (the way you have it there is no context for draft position). If I’m sitting at 10 I want to run scenarios of dropping to 15. Other mock draft sites/apps get $18/month which is just way too much. I might pay $3 or $5/ month to mock up drafts from Dec-April if the tool is decent, and I see people online saying the same. You If you made this app just a little better you could probably make a few bucks.
