HOOPT

Hoopt is the only social platform I use, and for good reason, it’s everything I’ve been looking for in a social app. I primarily use it to explore and track the things that bring joy and meaning to life: places, books, movies, and more. Unlike other platforms, Hoopt feels like an extension of my real life. It’s authentic, personal, and private, qualities that are rare for a social app. What truly sets Hoopt apart is its focus on genuine social value and utility. It’s not about meaningless scrolling or curated personas; it’s about sharing and discovering experiences that matter.

I have been using HOOPT for a bit now and it’s simple and powerful. The several conversation in my day to day with friends and colleagues who talk about their interests and movies they with want to watch or love, I HOOPT them with a private note and carry on with the conversation. I then simply refer back to my wanna list and after watching the movie I have something fun to start a conversation with my friend/ colleague. My “let’s go on a drive “ conversation with my wife finally has a painless solution. I open the HOOPT app and find a random location , zoom in and look for places my friends have visited and visit them! Check it out , it actually a productivity app that’s fun!

With hoopt, I never loose track of what I’ve loved and I have customized and personalized lists on demand for what I want to experience next. No more sitting on the couch scrolling through netflix trying to find what I want to watch; I have it all on hoopt! When I travel, I can plan where I want to go, eat, what I want to see/do all based on my collections and those hoopt recommends based on my network. And when someone says “hey, you were in rome recently; any ideas for good pasta”, I can quickly create my list and send to them; no more having to recall from memory or dig up notes or receipts scattered around. A game changer for people who want to lead more of an intentional life and less time being pushed/pulled by search engines and advertisers!
