This app is awesome and the best one I have found to practice getting your Preflop decisions correct. However 2 things that would be awesome to see added: 1. Being able to randomize the seat you’re sitting in so you can practice all the decisions rapid fire for different seats at the table. 2. Being able to select specific hands to practice. For example, if I could select only 98s, A6o, QJs etc and the only practice with those hands.
I play live and this app has improved my preflop selection significantly. As others have mentioned I’d love the 4 bets released, but it’s not hard to memorize your own 4 bet range using other gto websites. Annoying that you can’t adjust stack sizes, player counts or tournament vs cash but that’s okay as it’s a good baseline for all game types. In addition I think instructions on reading range charts and gto fundamentals would be helpful for some new players and those transitioning to gto.
The app is good but I feel that there are many ways to improve it. I think the most basic is to adjust stack depth and player count for more smaller and bigger tables. Also the solver includes a limp strategy which I think should be able to be toggled. You could also change it so that we can see what percent of the time you should open certain hands. Also I might be wrong but I think that the solver doesn’t include bluffs for hands like “68s”where you can open around 5% of the time from some positions for balance. I was told that if you only open certain suited connectors, you can be exploited in certain spots where you’re strategy simply can’t have the hand.
