I enjoy how many topics I have to choose from in Lingard. I find articles I really like, others that are interesting and teach me new things, and have not yet found an article I did not complete. I am learning French again after taking it for two years in college (40 years ago). Listening to articles helps me practice one set of skills and reading articles focuses on another set of skills. I am finding Lingard very helpful. I use the built-in quizzes to check my comprehension Lingard is a great resource for me!
This is the worst app I’ve ever attempted to use, keyword, attempted. I was trying to read this short 3 MINUTE story, and kept getting attacked by adds for the premium version. When I was trying to click on the story, it kept showing me what was available for the free version, and what was available for the premium version. At this point I was getting really mad about the amount of adds thrown in my face, but this is the part that ticked me off more than anything. I tried to click on the book to read it assuming that since the list said that was like the only thing you could do for free on this app that it would let me… NOPE! It wouldn’t let me read the dang thing. Now PLEASE stop lying to customers and just say that NOTHING is free on the app!
Hello, I’ve noticed that the iPhone version of the app includes the phonetic alphabet for words, which is really helpful for learning pronunciation. However, it seems to be missing from the iPad version. Would it be possible to add this feature to the iPad version as well? Additionally, I’ve found that in general the meanings provided for words don’t match their exact meaning within the context of the sentence. It would be great if this could be taken into account too, and if the app could be updated to reflect the correct meanings of words as they’re used in sentences. I’d greatly appreciate these updates—thank you so much for considering them!
