App Profile: Tiny Bible App

The quick, distraction free, offline Bible. Other Bible apps are filled with distracting content, ask you to sign-in, or require an internet connection. Tiny Bible is my response to those applications. It doesn’t attempt to replace reading a physical copy of the Bible, but rather enhance one’s experience with it.

Once installed, Tiny Bible has everything you need to start referencing the Bible. Browse, search, and read, even when internet is spotty.

Because no Internet connection is required, search results resolve in real-time as you type. Search for text contained in verses, chapters, books, or even across the entire Bible. Tiny Bible is smart enough to fetch complex verse ranges to get you where you’re going — fast.

Book and chapter titles are always visible so you never have to second guess where you are. Each verse has room to breathe on its own line, increasing focus and reading comprehension. Tiny Bible looks great in both light and dark mode.

Select and share verses with other people or applications. Bookmark favorite verses with the “saved” list. Tiny Bible automatically keeps track of where you’ve been so you can get back to where you were before.

Change the order of saved verses, perform full-text searches across the entire Bible in real-time, share verses between applications and more! Currently supports Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA) and King James Version (KJV) translations of the Bible.
