DO NOT USE THIS APP… this is a scam and allows the scammer to take over your phone and record … I was called and told that I owed Etsy $1900 and that I would need to pay that in order to unlock my account. I was told by the caller to download this app and to allow him to look at my phone, I realized halfway through the call that my phone was being recorded as I was using it, this app I was scammed for 13 charges above $500 each another three charges for charges. I’m sorry at $99 each tried to hit my credit card for $1900. I was lucky that none of the charges were put through in my bank accounts were all frozen, I called Verizon. I had a security lock put on my phone be aware. I also spoke to the police. This is a scam and it’s also something that they’re aware of and they believe that it’s an inside job also for Etsy. Unfortunately, I will not ever buy on
Etsy again this is not secure.

i called what i thought was apple support because of a balance i thought was incorrect. the person was very convincing at first, then told me to go into settings in the “language & region” section. he proceeded to tell me that i was charged $12k because of bitcoin and that he would “get the money returned to me.” do not believe them when they say this!! it’s just an example of what your formatting looks like! he then tells me download this app so i could show him my screen, then to go to my apple id account to show my personal information. he randomly asks “how old are you?” even though my age had nothing to do with the problem i was having. thankfully i caught on, ended the screen share and hung up immediately. i blocked the number as well. make sure you go to the actual apple website to reach apple!! this caused me to spend the rest of the day making sure all of my information was secure.

I work in IT and use this constantly to help my colleagues, not to mention being support for friends and my family.
This app is indispensable to provide help when you can actually see what the person you’re trying to help is actually seeing.
For those complaining about getting scammed, I recommend using common sense. If you need support from Apple, look at their website for contact information, not Google or any other site. If someone calls you about a “problem” you’re having-hang up. No tech company is going to call you-they don’t work that way.
