Toodledo (Next Generation) App

I have been using Toodledo for over 16 years and have never found a decent replacement. I have looked too! What I love is the quick task entry and easy rescheduling. It works extremely well on all platforms I use: web, macOS, iPadOS, and iOS. I use Toodledo for literally everything I do in life. I use it extensively for work as well as personal tasks. I have about 1,000 tasks and most of them are recurring. These are for everything from testing new macOS beta builds with our instance of Jamf and all related applications and policies to reminders to take out the trash and scoop the cat box. Literally everything I do. My memory has always been pretty bad and is getting worse with age so l rely on Toodledo. I am a devoted Toodledo devotee and can't recommend it enough.

I've found Toodledo shortly after I adopted the David Allen Getting Things Done (GTD) approach and it has become a part of my life ever since. The subtasks capability is invaluable. Toodledo is a comprehensive work organizing platform with options and fields to handle a number of situations, complex multi-step tasks (projects), contexts, priorities, etc. They recently greatly improved the mobile apps and are actively continuously improving the platform. They provide a running list of planned, in progress, and completed features as part of their Roadmap and support is very responsive. The areas that are weak but improving are: The platform is so comprehensive that if one isn't careful, when they start they can end up setting up their tasks, work, etc. is a less than optimum way. It is worth spending the time up front planning how to organize (as there are many more features than other "To Do" task lists) to take full advantage of its capabilities. Interfacing with other common platforms such as calendars, emails, etc. is improving but has been weak. Early on I looked at other platforms more integrated with my email and calendar systems, but nothing I've seen comes close to the comprehensive capabilities and now active improvements that Toodledo.
