The app doesn’t ever think the heater is on so you can’t turn it off or change the settings remotely when the heater is going and once the heater really is turned off, the app can’t connect to it to turn it on remotely. So as others have said, this is a worthless app, and since it was a selling point for the heater itself, that feels like a pretty dishonest thing for the company to do. The heater itself seems so far to be a great little power house, though I’ve only had it a few days. Hoping it will at least continue to do a good job of heating without the smart features.
App works fine. No issues. Probably one of the better apps out there for stuff like this. I will be using product even though it is not my best humidifier.
Using this app for the Clevast Smart Space Heater. This app will not hold a connection long enough to the heater that’s worth the time of setting it up! It seems after 10 seconds, the app automatically disconnects from the heater and you have to press the “Power” button on the heater in order for it to connect again. This defeats the purpose of having an app as a “remote control” if you have to press the power on the device itself each time. This is a horrible design because the app isn’t actually bad…when it works and the heater itself is actually pretty good. This is definitely a flaw that needs to be fixed ASAP! The app is one of the main selling points and it’s broken beyond belief!
