Immortal Love: Sparkle

Good story, great visuals, some witchcraft but not too heavy - I could do without all the dragons on each page - kind of a historical drama thing. The story line is quite creative for sure. Okay HOPs, not too many minigames, mostly trying to find things to move the story forward. I enjoyed it!

The games are visually stunning & always have a cute little storyline. All you guys’ work is greatly appreciated! However. I find that they are too easy & would love to see maybe some harder gameplay/puzzles in the future! Also, I think you all could pull off something that isn’t fantasy-based! I’d love love love to see maybe some [updated] true crime/detective/“real life” games in the future as well. Regardless. They are only suggestions & the games are amazing as is. Can’t wait to see what you guys do in the future. <3

Although the plot is one we see in many games by another developer (you all know who I mean!) Friendly Fox has managed to weave the storyline into the realm of fresh and unusual. The “gimmick” is a magic dragon, from whom you learn the tale of each actor’s backstory. I won’t go into detail because I do not want to spoil the game for anyone. Let’s just say there is, as always in this series, an amazing and poignant love story at the heart of this epic fantasy. This game was lengthy, exciting and gorgeous. The graphics were exquisite and colorful. The HO scenes were varied, and at times had embedded mini-puzzles to solve, and some of these scenes were challenging. Each location had a terrific plethora of enjoyable tasks to accomplish. It was a very interactive game, because there were items that had to be manipulated (like an homage to Mad Head), and others had to be assembled, in addition to completing plus items. It’s wonderful to play a game where you must use your head. This was not a “cookie-cutter” type of game! Collectibles included morphing objects and adorable dragons. I was enthralled by the selection of mini-games and puzzles because they were not all boring rotational mindless junk, like we get from Oleg! There were games of skill and dexterity, codes, mazes, labyrinths, paint by number, mosaics, matching, and logic. The variety was fantastic. I did not want this gem to end! My only issue was that there was a lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface, making it a bit difficult at times during the HO scenes and occasionally when utilizing inventory. It wasn’t bad enough to keep me from playing, because once I started this adventure, I didn’t want it to end. My rating will be 4.5 stars, and the deduction of the half star is a result of poor touchscreen sensitivity. A couple of times I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to complete an action, but luckily it was manageable. This is a must-purchase game, as are all games by this creative and caring developer, Friendly Fox. We really appreciate you and want to see way more releases here on iOS. You are by far the greatest developer in this genre! Thank you for such an incredible adventure!
