If you’re going to build an app for imaging professionals, at least get the title right. Adni calling us “radiologic technicians” is flat-out wrong and honestly insulting. We are Radiologic Technologists. That’s not semantics. That’s education, certification, clinical responsibility, and years of experience. I didn’t grind through an accredited program, pass boards, and work in high-stakes environments just to be mislabeled by an app that clearly didn’t bother to learn the profession it’s trying to serve. It’s especially frustrating that this feels like it was built from a nursing-centric perspective without respecting the distinctions in other allied health fields. You don’t see nurses being casually downgraded in title, so why is it acceptable here? If you can’t get something this fundamental right, it makes me question everything else about the platform. Job matching? Credibility? Understanding of scope of practice? All of it becomes suspect. Do better. Learn the profession. Respect the title. Radiologic Technologist. Not technician. Never technician.
Lumify is such a great and interactive company. Their app is amazing, they are a new and thriving company. The app is literally a “one-stop-shop” for any and all your healthcare needs from purchasing products made by healthcare workers for healthcare workers to networking with others for personal and professional development to being a resource for articles and education. It is a very well rounded company and it is exciting to see everything new that is to come! Thank you all so much
I love to buy from HCW and nurse owned businesses, including Etsy, and the Lumify Care apps let’s you do so quickly and easily! You’ll be exposed to many different nurse owned businesses you might otherwise never even have heard of. Plus, Lumify’s owners and inventors of the uNight Light are nurses themselves. Download the app & get yourself an awesome uNight Light so you can see on night shift without waking your patients!
