I need a solid app to track mileage for tax purposes. This is the best one I’ve tried. The Dev is very responsive to support emails. Twice now he’s fixed a problem I encountered in the app based on my email. Good record of solid upgrades. I have a high level of trust in the future of this app.
App does everything that you’d need from a great mileage tracker app. It’s experiencing some glitches right now but the developer reached out directly to resolve the issue which should be addressed soon in the next update. That kind of response and desire to improve is not found in the larger corporate apps!
Recently they released a new feature - tracking drives with Shortcuts automations. I configured it and it starts tracking my mileage the moment my iPhone connects to my Toyota Highlander via Bluetooth. And when it disconnects the app stops tracking mileage. And that’s amazing! I used MileIQ before, but it had 2 problems: sometimes tracking suddenly stops working and it’s got more expensive. Mileafy with its Shortcut automations makes magic. I also love how the widget appears when I drive, so I know for sure - it’s tracking and works reliably. And the second thing is this tracker is more affordable. Recommend it.
