Kids360: Parental Control App

Overall, I like the app. It lets me set limits and block when needed. It does what’s needed to be done. However, it’s super slow and doesn’t update in a timely manner. Customer service is essentially non existent, and you’re trying to troubleshoot on your own. It will say you can’t do something because you need to update, but when you update it still won’t allow you to do certain tasks. They need better customer service and to update to a better version of the app.

This app can’t do anything that is advertised that it can do. I’m on an iPhone 12 Pro Max, and my son’s phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max as well. I went thru the whole install process for both mine and my son’s phone, and once completed, the only thing I could select was a general age range of web searches to block 18+ websites, and turn on location. This app does NOT allow you to set up time limits for anything, it does NOT allow you to block certain apps, it does NOT allow you to restrict specific sites, and it does NOT allow you to “send tasks” to your kids.. and on and on… none of the features that convinced me to download this app were even available and present within the app when I downloaded it…… good thing I did the free trial so I could cancel it immediately and delete this garbage app from my phone and my son’s phone…

I advise caution when using this app as it may not always be compatible. Despite multiple attempts, I found that it was not suitable for my needs, leading to wasted time. I subscribed to the service for less than an hour and I Immediately canceled the subscription after encountering difficulties in obtaining a refund. To my dismay, the subscription was somehow renewed on my phone shortly after I had canceled it, resulting in an additional charge. It would be more equitable if users were allowed a 24-hour window to cancel a subscription, especially if they encounter compatibility issues. I am disappointed by the lack of flexibility and understanding in this matter and feel it's unjust to have spent $120 on an app that I cannot use. Customer service was terrible and made no accommodations however, I’m going to speak to legal and see if something can be done to get my refund. It's simply unfair.
