REEL - Video Editing Effects

Seems cool. I got it for a year. However can’t find any online tutorials on how to use features. Are there any instructional videos demoing the app and filters?

Clearly this app purchased about 1k positive reviews because the app functions like trash, there is no way it has 5 real stars. Before you even use the app at all they are asking you to review it - so annoying - within just a few minutes of tapping around they have tried to get me to go pro 5x. All of these effects are super super lame and found in way better apps, there are NONE of the cool effects that got your attention in the commercial. False advertising and a crappy money grabbing app. If you want this stuff go check out apps lie video leap that are affordable and work as advertised. **My response to their response No you guys aren’t working hard or you wouldn’t have purchased reviews, trying to take the easy path. Maybe you could have spent that money to make the app better instead. 🤦‍♂️

There are a couple really cool effects available for free - and upgrading to Pro is pushed pretty hard. I figured id give it a month shot for $10, and I feel ripped off. Very few new features are available after paying. None of what’s unlocked after paying is better, graphically more appealing or more exciting than what’s already available. The only other new controls you’re granted as a ‘Pro’ are some very limited music editing options, like adjusting the volume or choosing audio from your gallery. As said, this app has some cool foundational capabilities that are tough to find in other editing apps. Namely the repeater stuff. But you’re so limited in terms of actual editing features anyway, and so little is unlocked for a whopping $10, it’s hard not to feel like I got screwed. Sure you could go with the lower price and pay for the year, but if right now I’d paid $35 for what feels like nothing, I’d be an entirely different level of annoyed.
