Great way to invest in something alternative to stocks or leaving money in a HISA. My only suggestion to improve would be the option to be able to sell your holdings before maturity at your cost price. The same way as treasury yields for example can be sold before their maturity. This is only necessary if someone really needed the money and could not wait until the maturity date. They would simply sell and the holding would be added to the marketplace with however much time is already completed closer to maturity. Then once the items were sold on marketplace the individual would receive the funds and there would be no impact to the farmer or the seller (except IIF fees). Anyway I think this would increase the availability of items on marketplace and also enable people to invest more capital if they know that the have the ability to exit before the maturity and sell the obligation to someone else.

Love the investing platform so far. Lots of varied rounds of different investments. Really well designed app layout. The only problem I have, is I don’t get any app notifications when there is a new round of investments opening. This means that often I will open the app and see that there’s been a round sold out, before I knew. I would love to see this change implemented.

I’m a farmer and have worked on farms for over 50yrs so know how hard it can be to raise capital to fund opportunities. I’m a commercial beekeeper and I’ve invested into livestock as side investments for years so I know how much work is involved in finding farmers needing investment and in finding other investors when you can’t raise the needed capital. Considering how long it takes to put deals together and do all the checks on the farmers, the livestock genetics, the farm workers who are often related to the farmer and the market prices and expected values. Let’s not forget talking about the weather and soil PH and talking with a bank, trust me I’d rather hold a handful of worms than shake the hand of a slimy bank manager (worms always improve soil and who knows what a bank manager is good for). It’s nice to help other farmers and this app makes it affordable to all and cuts out most of the homework and checks plus it’s hands free. Can’t recommend it enough
