I love this app
I've been using the Vinyls app for a while now, and it has truly transformed the way I manage and organize my vinyl record collection. Here are some of the highlights: ### Pros: - **User-Friendly Interface**: The app is incredibly easy to navigate, with a clean and intuitive design that makes it accessible for users of all tech levels. - **Comprehensive Features**: Vinyls offers a wide range of features that cater to vinyl enthusiasts, from creating collections of favorite albums to easily tracking which records you own. - **Music Discovery**: The app allows users to discover new music by previewing songs and albums, which is a fantastic way to expand your collection. - **Barcode Scanning**: One of the standout features is the ability to scan barcodes on vinyl records to quickly add them to your collection. This saves a lot of time and effort. - **Performance**: The app runs smoothly without any noticeable lag or crashes, which is a huge plus. ### Suggestions for Improvement: - **Filter for Unplayed Albums**: I would love to be able to filter for albums I've not listened to in a while. This feature would help users rediscover forgotten gems in their collection. - **Barcode Scan Responsiveness**: While the barcode scan feature is good, it could be more responsive. Improving this would make adding new records even more seamless. Overall, Vinyls is a must-have app for any vinyl enthusiast looking to keep track of their collection and discover new music. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves vinyl records.
I was looking for an app that I could see my collection on my phone and Apple TV. When I first tried, I was getting an error and couldn’t create an account. After I left a review, they reached out and found out the issue was with the Apple sign in. Once that was corrected, all was good. The developer has been super cool about answering questions. If you already have your collection in Discogs, it doesn’t bring over your collection automatically, but hopefully that is coming soon. I look forward to more updates to the app. It’s good so far.
