There’s a lot to like about this app. I definitely recommend it for a number of reasons. First and foremost, the privacy policy is clean: it collects no data, which is a rarity among third-party QR code scanners. Secondly, it handles structured appends really well. Neither the native iOS QR scanner nor most of the third-party apps do this at all. This app, however, does a great job of handling the 16-image maximum of the current QR specification. Even the official Denso Wave app isn’t as reliable in this regard. Thirdly, it does a great job of auto-scanning, and prevents accidental duplicates when scanning large volumes of codes. When combined with structured appends or when scanning a lot of inventory codes, knowing you can safely rescan an item you aren’t 100% sure you scanned yet is a surprisingly useful feature I didn’t even know I needed. Lastly, the app does a great job even with extremely dense Version 40 images with minimal error correction and low resolutions. This app has had no trouble scanning QR codes that other apps, even expensive ones from well-known barcode companies, have simply failed to read accurately (if at all). If you need a batch QR scanning app or one that supports structured append, this is a great choice. I recommend it very highly, and think you’ll have a hard time finding a better one.
