App Profile: Wigwag

The wigwag app allows users to effortlessly meet individual lifestyle needs. Managing what you, your family, friends or even your pets eat every day is hard. Millions of adults, children and even their pets have food triggers or simply don’t want to eat foods they do not like. Even more people, make changes to their diet every year whether they want to convert to a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, lose weight, or perhaps a change was medically prescribed to manage a disease or condition. For whatever reason, one essential element is common amongst all of them: they all require you to remember what others can or will not eat.

The word ‘wigwag’ is an early form of aerial telegraphy or signaling between individuals who pass messages by waving a flag. We developed wigwag as a platform for persons 13 years and above to empower them to create a wigwag card to track trigger foods, let others know their lifestyle choices such as vegetarian or veganism, and more to privately share with family, friends, caregivers, or other trusted contacts.
