it’s tricky to distribute the grounds ready for imaging but that’s not the apps fault :) once you get that down it gives great results, of course to be sure it’s good to take like 3 readings of the same grounds and compare. Nice that when you click on the results graph it shows a histogram. i’d like a suggested ground size range for various brewing methods as an enhancement. i note that when first started the app i filled out the settings for my brew method but it didn’t remember them. however it remembered them when i re-entered after a sample, so no big issue. best thing i was going to write myself an app just like this and now i don’t have to. thanks!

This app is giving me a clear understanding what the different grinders and the different settings of the same grinder are actually doing. Big surprise to me is the huge distribution of the grind sizes the grinders producing at different settings. On the way to find the best grinder and the best setting for a great espresso experience with this app.

I just opened the app shortly ago, and I can tell it's trying to fill a need that hasn't been addressed. I hope the dev develops the app to perfection and gets good money doing it. Grind size is a difficult thing to describe and very different across different grinders. I'm giving this a 5 in the hopes of the idea developing to perfection.
