Daffy: Save, Invest, Give

At the beginning of 2026, we used Daffy to effectively prepay a year’s worth of donations to our church. That prepayment is immediately a charitable contribution for tax purposes. It doesn’t matter if you simply keep the funds with Daffy or set up monthly draws, which is what we do. No credit cards or checks needed by us to send to our church. The app shows when checks are sent and if the church deposited those checks. The fee of $3/m offsets what we’d otherwise pay in postage! Since our funds are put into the most aggressive funds, those gains far more offset this $3, and not having to deal with it monthly is a major time saver. We love Daffy!

I love Daffy!!! I first heard about them on a podcast I listen to regularly. When I did some research comparing them to doing a donor advised fund through my bank the choice was so clear. I love their transparent and fixed pricing structure, which allows me to give much more of my money to the causes I care about. Daffy is incredibly efficient, and I have felt like I’ve gotten white glove service since I signed up. From learning how to transfer stocks, to on boarding a new charity, they made the process seamless. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I try to donate to charity every year but usually don’t know where to give and often forget. Daffy makes it really easy to set money aside automatically, so I don’t have to think about it. They have a nice variety of portfolios that I can pick from for my contributions to be invested. I also really like that you do everything straight from your phone!
