Bloom: Learn to Invest

I've been using the Bloom investing app for a few months now, and it has completely transformed the way I approach investing. As someone who’s fairly new to the world of finance, I was looking for a platform that was user-friendly, educational, and effective and Bloom delivered on all fronts. The interface is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to navigate even for beginners. I love how the app breaks down complex concepts into simple, digestible bits of information. The educational resources, like interactive lessons and articles, have really boosted my confidence in making informed decisions. One of the standout features is the personalized investment plans. Bloom takes into account your financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon to craft a strategy that suits your needs perfectly. It’s like having a financial advisor in your pocket! The app also offers a great variety of investment options, from ETFs to individual stocks, all with low fees. The performance tracking tools are fantastic too—it's so satisfying to see my portfolio grow over time. Customer support is top-notch, always responsive and helpful whenever I have questions. Plus, the community aspect of Bloom is a nice touch; it’s great to connect with other investors and share tips and insights. Overall, Bloom has made investing accessible, engaging, and, most importantly, profitable for me. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take control of their financial future.

I am 21 years old and have been using this app since last August. I gave Bloom a shot because I had seen many ads for this app (especially on TikTok), and I'm definitely glad I did. While the education isn't the most sophisticated in the world, it does what it needs to do for an app tailored to teens. The in-app currency (oinks) is relatively easy to earn and can be used to buy free stocks, although cooldowns are still annoying. The biggest problem with this app is the $8 a month fee (which amounts to $96 a year). Sure, you can earn free stocks, but it’s hardly enough to cover even half of the cost of using the app in the first place. In hindsight, I wouldn’t really recommend this for long-term investing just because of that; you’d be better off switching to Robinhood, Fidelity, or Schwab after 1-2 years of learning how to invest. However, I still believe this app is great for teaching young adults how the finance field works and how to turn money into more money. I’ve heard many in the finance field chalking Bloom up to be a game for rich kids—while I can see where they are coming from, it’s still clear Bloom wants to turn young people into successful investors safely. Apps like Robinhood also have education modules, but you don’t really learn as much as you do on Bloom. Ultimately, despite some of my criticisms, I am still happy I listened to the ads. Bloom has definitely made me a better investor, and I recommend this to all parents of tech-savvy 15-20 year-olds.

I really recommend Bloom. It’s worth the price because of the education, confidence, and safety it gives you. Plus I reached out to the team with questions and they walked me through everything personally! I’m going into my first year of college and I’ve never had a lot of access to financial advice. I’ve watched YT videos and read books, but nothing really stuck and I couldn't really keep up with it. So, I downloaded Bloom after seeing stuff about it on TikTok and was skeptical at first, but omg I’ve learned so much about personal finance, investing, and even general economic stuff. I’ve really started to budget, even opened a Roth IRA, and am investing in ETFs (which I didn't even know existed) so I’ll have thousands growing once I’m out of college. I had other apps like Robinhood before, but I mainly just lost out or if I was lucky I was only gaining like a few cents. They didn’t really help, they incentivized me to buy when I shouldn’t have. Bloom shows me risk ratings, analyst ratings and stats in a super simple but comprehensive way. They show you what everything means, so even to a complete noob like I was, everything just made sense. It made me feel so much more comfortable. Cannot recommend more!!
