While plugged into apple car play these following messages where sent to a friend of mine when she mentioned that she was on my street but did not have my house number. She was flabbergasted at these messages. Is there any way I can stop this from happening?

I have a 2014 BMW x3 and downloaded this app because I thought it would be useful to be able monitor my actual tire pressure, which is something you can’t do within the car or on the BMW connected drive app. I am subscribed to all the services BMW has and my car is compatible….so why is it literally only showing me two options on this app to lock or unlock my doors? I can do that on my connected drive app through BMW already. I just paid 10 dollars for absolutely nothing. It seems to me that this app is falsely advertising things. I hope that there is something I’m missing here and that the developer can help me figure this out. I will update this review accordingly.

First, this has nothing to do with Apple CarPlay so if you are tricked into getting this app thinking it does, you are being deceived.
Second, this has nothing to do with Ford Pass or any other manufacturer’s FREE app. In my instance, I have Ford Pass, for FREE, which does far more than this app. Do not be deceived that it is necessary for your Ford Pass or any other manufacturer’s app to work.
I am actually stunned the App Store allows this app to stay around because I strongly feel the way Car Play is presented is dishonest. I can’t speak for other car owners with different manufacturers than Ford, but if it is anything close to Ford, you absolutely do not need this app.
