I really appreciate this app and the fact that it doesn’t collect data. The addition of a keyboard extension is great! The search is a bit wonky in that it’s a bit too specific. But, this app is so much nicer than other alternatives.
Copy and Pasting into imessage works fine, but pasting into emails does not bring with it the animation, even though I can paste GIFs from other sources into my email. My bigger concern is that the search bar will not let you search for anything you desire, even if it were not to bring relevant results, but instead will only refresh the results if you choose one of the already present keywords. I couldn't search for the movie Clue, but when I clicked Clueless, there were plenty of Clueless GIFs.
I love the concept and idea behind this app but it wouldn’t recognize any of my most common search terms. Maybe because it’s a French-language app? I’m not sure but this would be exactly what I’m looking for in a privacy-focused GIF keyboard if it actually worked properly.
