First off, despite the app wanting to get LMTs matched with clients, there’s no instant confirm mechanism meaning you have to manually accept every appts. So even if I wanted to prioritize taking clients from this app, I need to be glued to my phone to accept clients (and this is really hard when I’m already in session or driving to a client already). Furthermore, the ability of managing your already accepted appts/seen clients is VERY limited. Any changes or rescheduling to an accepted appt would require reaching out to support and cancelling and hoping to rebook the same client when the new booking goes out. Clients who like you can’t easily rebook with you either. Every request just gets sent out to all the LMTs in the area. I get building your practice from somewhere but this app is disrespectful over our time and energy. I use other apps and am looking into other contracted positions bc I refuse to be undervalued and underpaid.
Maybe if we felt like we were being treated fairly(like showing us a breakdown of our pay or getting paid on time), we would care more about making sure BigToe is successful. Instead pretty much everyone just uses it as an advertisement. If we were treated great, we would never want to take clients away from the app. We would want BigToe to have more money so they can bing more business. There isnt enough work on here. It started getting good, and then prices got raised, and now hardly anyone schedules. I used to feel good making about 80% of the cash. Now i make about 50%, with about half the appointments being scheduled that used to be. People are struggling right now. We cant afford to have this responsibility. And it is why this company will never grow beyond this point. Not saying im doing this. Just saying what i see and feel the need to do in order to take care of myself.
Payments take a week to render when it’s two business days as advertised. The representatives are from another country and don’t care what’s going on in your little city and town. Communication skills lag. It’s so unprofessional to work consistently I try my best not to deal with them often. Safety isn’t a focus. Sexually harassed providers only get blocked from the clients they don’t delete the clients profiles. Unacceptable.
