I love this app and I use it for my art all the time, there are some things that stop it from being 5 stars in my eyes and thats just the limited selection of props and body parts. The werewolf is cool but it’s missing it’s tail etc. Having a devil or some winged critter would be cool. And maybe more firearms or a backpack or something along those lines. Make it a pro selection if you must, I’d pay money for a Dog model lol. Small suggestion? How about custom props? Like using the shapes to make something then having it be its own solid item that you can save and re-use? For example, I took the Lever action rifle you have as a prop then used the cubes and cylander to make a Fallout Laser rifle! I was proud of how it looked but was disappointed I couldn't give the other models the same thing because even if the shapes and rifle are attached to the character’s hand, they’re still individual shapes. TLDR. Love the app, wish there were more options in models and props, suggest custom prop maker similar to the custom model maker system! God bless.

I legit cannot get enough of this app. I do illustration and concept art, and I have the Pro version of this app. Being able to quickly create my own mannequins out of different parts and resize the pieces however I like, and then on top of that connect primitives to each part to add character specific shapes and features, and STILL be able to pose it all flawlessly. It's amazing. Bravo.
I gotta say too that the posing system is very cleverly designed. Switching between IK and FK feels like muscle memory now. Just a difference of dragging with 1 or 2 fingers. You clearly know what an artist would want, because of course you are an artist yourself, app designer. So thank you for releasing such a phenomenal tool like this to the public!
My only real criticism would be easily fixed in a patch, so I won't let this reflect on the score at all. But I have once or twice accidentally overwritten a scene when I meant to load one. I would ask for you to add maybe an "Are you sure?" popup if you select overwrite, just to give the user another chance in case they pressed the wrong button. Unless I haven't updated yet, and this is already fixed. If so, ignore what I said!

This app is a pretty mediocre posing tool, and there are many little things that make me averse to using this. First and foremost, pinching to zoom in/out has too little sensitivity while using one finger to move the camera has WAY too much sensitivity. The models look fine, I especially love the inclusion of the horse model, but the human models are severely lacking. The graphics of the models are also quite crunchy-looking due to there being no anti-alias in the graphics engine, which makes them not great to look at. I was also unpleasantly surprised to find the hands nor the feet are bendable in any way. Hands and feet should not be an after thought, especially considering this app has apparently been out for 12+ years? It just feels like all of the effort is put into unnecessary areas to make this app flashy and pretentious when, at the end of the day, this is a posing tool that does the bare minimum. If you’re looking for a posing app that will actually serve as better reference material for your art, you would be better off installing magic poser, because at least on that app you can pose every part of the model and moving the camera around is actually intuitive.
About Poseit
I like to think about this app as a natural evolution of the traditional drawing mannequin. As artistis around the world started supporting it and appreciating it, it eveolved beyond my best expectation in what it is now. Muliple mannequins, shuffling of parts, export of 3d models and much more. The screen space rotation method and others automatic features make your posing process fast and dynamic. Pose and view your reference just the way you need it and strengthen and improve your human figure drawing skills or export the 3d models for your 3d projects.
Poseit was born as my personal tool to help me drawing the most challenging poses, during the lockdown I had to spend my vacations at home and I gave myself the challenge to polish it and publish it (yes it is my very first app). I hope it now can serve others as good as it served me. If you decide to unlock the pro version please be aware that, as solo indie developer, and being a pet project and not my main job, I cannot guarantee a proper support and further development of this app.
