I found ways to beat other players or bots is what everyone is saying. Because people say the bots have endless power ups or it’s not fair that there is power ups even though your better then them. When the bot uses the fire ball just try to hit it with your head and it goes flying into the other side and makes them have a foul for some reason or they don’t go for it. Sometimes it doesn’t work though. I agree that it’s not fair that they have power ups but I am fine with the packs taking too long cause I don’t have a problem with that. I also read this other persons review and he said that his controls are not working. I think it is just fine because I think the reason why his character is going opposite Directions that he wants to go is because he thinks he is going one way but then he accidentally presses the other button and then blames it on the game. There is also ways to win. It is not impossible because I win all the time. So if the person who made this game is reading this don’t stress out.
This is a fun game and I have spent no money. I think it’s pretty well known that you play bots, but the problem is I go on streaks of 10+ without losing and have very subpar equipment while using no power ups. The bots can be strong, but the trick is to either camp the front line and spike the serve back before they can respond when they’re serving which works most of the time, or at the very least wastes their stamina. The bots are bad at defending spikes and they’re bad at managing energy. As long as you can take note of the bot’s power ups, you can play accordingly and just make sure you put the ball deep and high on fireballs which are the main concern. Reversed controls take a little getting used to as well but aren’t much of a problem. High Net usually ends up hurting the bot more. Sticky Feet is usually not a big factor considering your dive can help you cover half the court. And the only other ones I can think of are double points and freeze ball which don’t effect the game if everything else is played correctly, it only limits your margin of error but doesn’t make it harder. The point is that the AI is very weak and even the strongest bots with the best equipment fail to manage energy. I wish either true multiplayer was allowed or the bots were at least updated. I’m sitting on 1.8M coins with not much to spend them on and am getting bored of consistently winning with a power level 51.4 against bots with power 70+ where I’m using absolutely no power ups.
I found this game to be amazing. It’s really fun and you can get addicted. But the only reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because of a few reasons. The first are the packs. I don’t understand why packs take so long to open. They can take 3-8 hours - which is unbelievably long. The second is reason is the matchmaking. Sometimes I get out with opponents that are way stronger than I am. Sometimes over 10 levels. I think matchmaking should be kept anywhere minus or plus 5 levels so that matches can be more fairer. Third, the power ups. I love the idea of the power ups but in reality I actually hate them. And that’s because they take the skill a player possesses away. For instance, while I practise so much to get better, somebody can always just use a power with little effort instead. I wouldn’t say to remove the power ups, but I’d say to add new game modes instead (for example a realistic game mode based solely on skill rather than power ups). And lastly, I was level 8 playing as a guest and I decided to add my account but when I did, I lost all my progress. Now I can’t go back and get my Guest account back. And the only way to not be labelled as a “Guest” is if you log in through your Apple account or Facebook account. No offense but I find this completely dumb. I think Miniclip should just allow a feature where people just create their own account via the game itself instead of via Apple and Facebook. And I’m not the only because there are just so many Guest users. I want this game to be better for everyone so that it can become even more popular. I hope this review helped, thank you.
