Anytime I use the app no matter what I do I can’t look at anything and can’t get it to load. It has nothing to do with my Internet connection or anything like that. Only thing I get is a message that says something like“Oops We’re Sorry”. It is a real shame because I always have loved the IPs owned by Hasbro but it feels like they don’t put in effort anymore into running their business, they think fans will just carry them no matter what. Sales are down not because of kids playing on IPads now, it’s because Hasbro is lazy and greedy and don’t put in good faith effort most of the time and sabotage employees who do put in good faith efforts. Can’t even do the minimum of making their storefront app work, you would almost think they don’t want to sell toys anymore.
Want to buy Hasbro products or renew a Pulse premium membership? Do not worry, this app and its website will barely let you do either. Between not saving validated addresses, constant payment authorization failures, no dates related to Premium membership or renewals, this app manages to frustrate at every turn, and crashes trying to do almost anything. I have never seen a worse e-commerce app in the last decade. This one wins at promising everything and delivering nothing. I’m in a constant state of downloading the app and then deleting it due to it being so horrible. Sorry Hasbro developers, but this one is not a win at all, and as bad as the old experience was, at least it kind of sort of worked, which is more than I can say for the 2025 version. Please try again.
The UI of this app is super user-unfriendly, but that’s not the worst part. Like other users, I have sometimes been completely locked out from placing orders for no clear reason, instead just getting an error message over and over that my order can’t be placed right now and that I should try again in a few minutes. When this happens during preorders (and it does), this makes paying for a premium Pulse membership totally pointless, so I would advise against getting that, too. The last time this issue happened to me, it went on for days and it took a back-and-forth with customer service before they just told me the issue had been resolved, with no explanation. Nothing they recommended prior to that (reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, etc.) fixed the issue. This time, I am sitting here locked out of the SDCC weekend preorders that are going up, with no hope of help from customer service until business hours on Monday. Really regretting paying that $50 for a premium membership. You might as well just pay scalper prices and save yourself the frustration.
