The ads freeze up the game constantly and then you have to leave the game, same thing happens when you have to revive yourself, and then if you hit โgetโ on an apps ad it doesnโt open the store it just freezes the game and you have to leave, and lose the points you earned. And even though I know I have cell service and perfectly fine Wi-Fi, the game will tell me thereโs no internet connection so it wonโt let me get more candies or meters if the option is to watch an ad to earn more.. it wonโt let me do anything involving an ad or even earning points usually. Very aggravating because other than that itโs a good game, but I use this game to earn money on another app, so Iโm extra frustrated because it stops me from being able to advance and make the money I earned.
Youโll be going down the meter and you hit one of those red glass tubes that youโre not supposed to and they give you a chance to watch an ad to revive yourself. After you revive yourself, sometimes the anchor does not move, so you literally have to leave the game and lose all of the possible points that you couldโve had because the game was stuck.
I understand the need to make money off of something that you put hard work into developing, but why would someone want to play a game where you spend 95% of your time watching ads. And another 3% of your time trying to press the button that says โNo Thanksโ to say โNo thank you, I donโt want to watch an adโ. Which is dangerously close to the button to watch an ad for more in-game money. Also, sorry, but this game isnโt worth $2.99. It lacks a story, nothing is unique about the gameplay, youโre not really progressing in any way... you keep going down in depth and increasing the number of candies you can grab, but it lacks any incentive to keep progressing. I apologize if it seems like Iโm being unfair and rude. I came here to comment with actual constructive criticism, but the more I type and the more I think about my issues with this game the more Iโm thinking the developersโ goal was not to create an app to provide the player an entertaining experience, but purely to inundate them with ads. It seems like just enough thought went into this game to hook someone just enough that they consider spending $2.99. However, once they do purchase the app theyโre likely to quickly figure out the game is a sad and uninspired shell of a game. Because once you remove the ads you can play 20x faster. And that basically means you figure out the game doesnโt go anywhere and isnโt very fun 20x faster. If you guys would like some suggestions of how to make this game both more fun, and more likely to hook a user enough to purchase the game and then deliver an experience worth $2.99, let me know who to contact.
