Motionblinds Bluetooth

Purchased a double roller blind and I have a remote but needed to adjust the up and down end positions, which can only be done with the app. It worked great! Yes, you can only control one window at the time, but I wouldn’t expect more from a free app. I’m super-happy.

You can basically setup to open and close shades. It only allows three timers per shade. So if you want to set the shades at different levels during the day your out of luck. It would be simple for the developer to just add more timers per shade. There is NO group setting so if you have 5 shades in one room you have to do all individually with the times. Also there is no sunrise/sunset setting which is a popular option so you have to go in and continually adjust the time for EACH individually shade since there is no group setting. To sell such expensive shades and cheap out on a basic app is surprising.

When the app works, it works well. I have 9 motorized shades; one of them will not connect via bluetooth. My phone sees the shade but not vice versa. Tech support is available only as a chat and you may wait a day to get a response. I cannot recommend this product. There are You Tube videos but they do not address the issues.
