Track Attack! Lap timer & maps

This app works so well. I genuinely appreciate this app. Coming from Harry’s laptimer, I couldn’t be more satisfied. The UI is well-designed, the app never crashes or freezes, and it delivers on all of its promises. Paired with a compatible OBD reader, it’s so good. I wish I had tried it sooner really. If you’re currently shopping around and comparing options, you should really just try this one first. Especially because you can try your first several sessions for free. Learn from my mistake: I wasted a bunch of money on Harry’s laptimer trying to get it to work and paying for upgrades etc and it was not useful at all and constantly crashed. There’s definitely room for growth /more features to be added (like GoPro picture-in-picture support), but I really appreciate the developer(s) only releasing things that are truly ready and that reliably work. Overall it’s a great and makes track days even more fun.

Track Attack is the app every driving enthusiast needs! It makes the Porsche Roads app feel like a gimmick (woeful connectivity issues are just scratching the surface with that). Whether you’re carving up the track or planning an epic road trip, this app is a game-changer 🤌🏾 I love how it records dual-camera videos—capturing both the road and my “focused driver” face. And the Mexico speedometer? A hilarious touch that helps me share my videos with my family without giving them a heart attack 🤣. Real-time updates and data analysis? Yes, please! In short, Track Attack isn't just an app; it's my co-pilot, my track buddy, and my favorite driving companion! Try it, and you’ll never go back!

I have been using this App for about 6 months. Really simple to use and hugely helpful to recording and allowing me to assess and improve my track driving. Mount your phone on the windshield so that the track ahead is clearly visible using your camera and then hit start to record your session. It will give you lap times and your best lap like many other apps, but unlike these it will save a video and automatically push it to your photos. This allows you to review your lap and assess your line. Now this isn’t a professional set up that uses car data but it’s perfect for a novice trying to make sure they are following the optimal track line and maybe review their lap with a coach. Also great for showing off with video. The app is also great for recording a scenic drive. Important to note that apple carplay needs to be turned off for it to properly work with the latest iphone updates. Try it out. What great value!
