Merge Life

I've NEVER been hooked to a mobile game like this since my old Clash of Clans days. Super addicting and once you have a strategy for merging, it's the best. The events are fun. BUT one of my kids accidentally deleted my game and unfortunately.... ALL MY PROGRESS IS GONE. Normally with other games, they link to Game Center or through social media so that things don't get lost. But this doesn't. If you get this game, be sure to NEVER accidentally delete it or all your progress is gone. This is actually the second time my progress disappeared. The first time, I was only at age 19 so it wasnt a big deal for me. But I was at age 35 and maxed out my generators. Everything is gone again..... very addicting and a great game! Just a bit disappointing.

I’m writing this review in response to the recent update that was just released, citing bug fixes as the primary reason for the update. However, it seems they also changed the format for how many diamonds to charge for an energy refill. I’ve been playing for days now, and only being charged a base rate of 10 diamonds per, and when I go to play today it is now an INCREASING amount of diamonds per refill. Starting at 10 and increasing as you use the refill function. This small change has effectively made this game just as corrupt and money grubbing as the other merge games out there, and it makes me never want to invest another real dollar into this game. Once my diamonds run out, I’m uninstalling this game and never playing again. WTG devs, you lost yourself a customer. Hope it was worth it!

I have never left such a detailed review of a game before. I have played every cooking game out there every three in a row game, every “mining” game… and every merge game. This by far has me hooked the hardest. I adore the story line, I love the items that need to be merged, the graphics are fun. I wish there were other options, that you could choose along the way. Maybe a fun chef career path, or designer. Also I am now in my 3rd “life” as I’ve reached a certain level, and have returned to an age 0 baby. I’m not sure if it’s because the game is in early stages, or if it’s a glitch… and resets( either ways okay, like I said I LOVE this game.
